Well-worn crocheted rag rug

I couldn't very well photograph the one without the other, even though this one has seen some mending! I love the nubby feel of the crocheted fabrics. Again, it's made of my old clothes and sheets. Early 1990s.

Recycled chenille bathrobe for the chicks, recycled dress and other fabric for the rest of the quilt. 2005.

Fresh Look for an Old Quilt

This is a quilt I took apart, salvaged the best blocks, trimmed the edges and reassembled in a different setting than the original, added new borders, batting, backing and binding. 2007.

Quilt for Felina

Fabrics are from clothing. This pattern is Bento Box, after the Japanese Bento Boxes for lunch and dinner. I enjoyed making this vibrant quilt.

Multi-Colored Canvas Tote Bag

Fantastic technique of layering fabrics and yarns, stitching lines through all layers and cutting between the lines to expose the layers. I made this for my sister Pamela for her birthday in 2009.

Other Side of Tote Bag

Completely recycled materials: an old sweatshirt, dress sleeves, ric-rac, jute webbing, buttons. I made this for my sister Pamela for her birthday this year.
