Mosaic Plates



Underneath the mosaic are old Homer Laughlin plates - scratched and stained - a perfect base for mosaics. About 2002.

I made this in 1993. The beach glass was from Glass Beach, Mendocino.

Mosaic Wood Stove Surround

It took me 8 days to do this tiling, and after living with it for 5 years, I removed it all - took even longer for the demolition! I surely am glad I took these photos! 2004.
